Good Morning – this email is being bcc’d to PEC, et al
Jen Leclair has compiled (and photographed – thank you) all the products going into the PAN AM Games brand new retrofitted apartments. Pictured are kits for 8 – 1 bedroom apartments (6 male and 2 female Veterans), 1 – 2 bedroom apartment (1 female veteran and her daughter - that can now go back to school as they will be leaving the shelter system) and 1 – 3 bedroom apartment for a male Afghanistan Veteran and his 3 children. All of these products were purchased by Jen Leclair, Juanita Kemp, Greg Kobold and I, on various trips (for the best deals) and numerous car loads! The entire funding for these beautiful kits were provided by a small portion of the grant we received from the Fyfe Foundation at the beginning of the year.
Comrades this is only a small part of what The Royal Canadian Legion, the Ladies Auxiliary, Districts, Zones, Branches and partners do for our Veterans and their dependents! Keep up the great work helping them Leave the Streets Behind.
Regards,
Pamela Sweeny
